As an Oracle Certified Advantage Partner, Intermec offers an ever-expanding list of radio frequency enabled data collection devices including wireless handheld, vehicle-mounted and stationary computer terminals that are Oracle-certified and pre-configured to be 11i compatible. We call it Oracle “Ready-To-Run.” Intermec’s wireless networks and devices not only complement Oracle applications and provide real-time data collection capabilities, but also support the 802.11 standard ensuring security, reliability and performance. Together they help companies use supply chain information systems to improve efficiency and profitability.

Intermec is also a core technology provider to Oracle. Intermec and Oracle have joined forces to add RFID capabilities to the next version of Oracle's warehouse management software, due out early next year. The two companies will create protocols to ensure that RFID tags scanned with Intermec's Intellitag® readers can flow smoothly into Oracle's WMS. Intermec believes with that integration of its technology at the database level along with the strength of 9i, Oracle’s database customers will have the greatest advantage.

Intermec has also teamed up with Oracle to provide a hardware and software solution that seamlessly integrates time and attendance into Oracle’s HRMS application. In addition, Oracle offered their first-ever field service application on Intermec mobile computers.
